1. Tights.
I love them with dresses and skirts and in all different colors. Cannot wait.

2. Jackets.
I need a leather bomber and a blazer. Preferably these overpriced ones from Shop Bop, but I will be settling with a nice bargain buy.
I didn't get to go last year, and thank goodness it is in October for 2009. Halie (seen below) and I are going together. I am crossing my fingers for media passes...

This is simply the best German festival in the U.S. I have gone every year since I was born, and never plan to disturb my tradition. How often do I get to wear my green hat, eat bread pudding and carry around a pitcher of beer? Once a year in New Branfuels, Texas.

5. Camping.
Again, something I have done since I was born. I love the city, but I am in love with the outdoors. In a tent or a camper, you cannot beat keeping warm around a campfire during the winter.

6. Halloween! Halloween!
I LOVE Halloween. I usually start thinking about the next Halloween...on Halloween. I love dressing up, but end up throwing together a costume the day before, (even after long months of brainstorming and researching). This past year I was Harriet Potter: the love child of Harry and Hermione. I have never read a book or watched a movie, and HP fans shook their fists at me for making such a false claim.

7. Snow? Snow.
This is a photo from Christmas several years ago. Yes my friend, in Texas. I am hoping I can re-enact this moment during Christmas 2009.

8. Dog sweaters.
Ok, I couldn't find a cute photo of my Sadie in one of her sweaters, but can't you imagine how cute she would be? This is the only time of year I dress my dogs up, I swear, and they actually like it!

9. Outdoor concerts.
Oh the joy of dancing all night at a show and not leaving a hot sweaty mess.
This is from Shiny Toy Guns in Kansas City, Halloween 2008.

10. That heater smell.
You know what I'm talking about. That smell when you start up your heater for the first time in a year. You can hear it kick into gear while all cozy on the couch, and you can feel the warm air from the vents. No photo needed here, just memory.
